Washington: – Newly elected Vice-President Kamala Harris is of Indian origin. His mother was from Chennai. Kamala Harris was born in 1964 in Auckland. Kamala’s mother’s name was Shyamala Gopalan Harris while her father hails from Jamaica. His name is Donald Harris. He was also Professor of Economics at Stanford University.
There is a festive atmosphere in Tulasanthirapuram village and Panganadu village in Thiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu when Kamla Harris holds the post of Vice President of the US. No president has done this in the last 100 years. Vice President Mike Pence will be present on Wednesday morning when Trump leaves the White House.
Swearing time
The opening speech time is usually 11.30 in the morning (according to American time). It is therefore believed that the swearing-in of Biden and Kamala Harris will take place around noon. Later that day Biden will go to the White House and this will be his residence for the next four years.

Taking the oath, Biden would say, “I take this oath with all sincerity that I will fulfill the responsibility of the President of America with all my sincerity.” I will protect, protect and defend the Constitution of America with all its potential.
The Vice President is administered the oath before the President
Usually the newly elected Vice President is administered the oath before the newly elected President. Kamala Harris will be administered oath by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
